Dinglo

Dinglo is a virtual instrument app for Android. Users play six realistic instruments on the touch screen: handpan, steel tongue drum, kalimba, Tibetan singing bowls, steel pan and gong. Sounds are generated on the device by a built-in synthesis engine (no streaming). Features: multi-touch playing with touch strength, hold-to-mute, edge slap; 8 handpan scales and 4 tongue drum scales plus user-built custom scales; Learn section with public-domain songs and rhythms shown as numbered tabs with a guided "wait for me" mode; a Tuner for real instruments that listens through the microphone in real time and shows the fundamental, octave and compound fifth of a note; a Library where users can record what they play in the app (recorded from the app's own audio output, not the microphone) and save or share the recording file through the Android share sheet; settings for room reverb, sympathetic resonance, touch, vibration, instrument finish and language (11 languages). No account or login exists. No ads. Monetization: optional auto-renewing subscription "Dinglo Pro" sold through Google Play Billing (weekly with a 3-day free trial, monthly, yearly) that unlocks kalimba, singing bowls, steel pan, gong, all scales and custom scales, all songs and rhythms, the 3-tone tuner view, unlimited recordings and extra finishes; handpan and tongue drum remain free. Subscriptions are managed and cancelled in Google Play. Permissions: RECORD_AUDIO (only while the Tuner screen is actively listening, after the user taps Start), INTERNET (Google Play Billing and opening legal links), VIBRATE (optional haptic feedback). Works offline.
