These terms govern your use of Dinglo ("the app"), published by Hugo Software. By installing or using the app you agree to them.
Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control. You may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer or redistribute the app, its sounds or its images. Recordings you make in the app are yours to keep and share.
Free features
The app is free to download. The handpan (two scales, Ember finish), the tongue drum (one scale, Midnight finish), three songs and one rhythm in Learn, the Tuner's note reading and up to three saved recordings are free, with no time limit.
Dinglo Pro subscription
Dinglo Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription. It unlocks the kalimba, singing bowls, steel pan and gong, every scale and your own custom scales, every song and rhythm, the Tuner's 3-tone view, unlimited recordings and extra instrument finishes.
- Plans: weekly, monthly or yearly. The price of each plan is shown in the app and in Google Play, in your local currency, before you confirm.
- Free trial: new subscribers may get a 3-day free trial. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, the subscription starts automatically at the price shown when you subscribed. Google Play emails you a reminder before the trial ends.
- Renewal: every plan renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
- Billing: payment is charged to your Google Play account; all payment processing is done by Google Play.
- Cancelling: cancel any time in Google Play > Subscriptions. Cancel before the trial ends and you are not charged. You keep Pro until the end of the period already paid for.
- Uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription.
Prices may change. If a price changes for an existing subscription, Google Play notifies you before charging the new price.
Refunds
Refunds are handled by Google Play under its own refund policy. If you believe you were charged in error, contact Google Play support; you may also write to [email protected] and we will help where we can.
Songs
The songs in Learn are traditional or classical works in the public domain, arranged for the app's instruments.
Availability and changes
We may update, change or discontinue features of the app. The app is provided as it is at any given time.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. The Tuner gives an estimate based on your phone's microphone; it is a practice aid, not a professional tuning device.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Hugo Software is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data stored on your device. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms; the current version is always available at this address.
